Two ways to finance

Synchrony — traditional retail financing

Standard retail credit through one of the largest U.S. consumer-finance partners. Apply at checkout for an instant decision in most cases. Synchrony offers 0% APR promotional terms tailored to your purchase amount — 6, 12, 18, 24, 36, or 60 months depending on the order — and you'll see the specific promotional term and monthly payment before confirming your order. The promotional 0% APR holds as long as the balance is paid in full by the end of the term; if a balance remains, deferred interest applies from the original purchase date. Good fit if you have established credit, want a single revolving line you can re-use on future purchases, and intend to pay the balance within the promotional period.

Acima — lease-to-own option

Lease-to-own program designed for shoppers building credit or who don't qualify with traditional financing. Quick application, soft credit check (no hard pull during pre-approval), instant approval up to $4,000. Acima sets your monthly payment based on the lease term — you can also pay off early at a discount (typically 90 days at a reduced effective cost). Good fit if traditional financing isn't an option right now, or if you prefer the flexibility of a lease without revolving credit on your record.

Approval is based on creditworthiness and is processed by the financing partner (Synchrony or Acima), not by LA Mattress Store. Most applicants are approved instantly. Synchrony approvals scale with your credit profile and history; Acima's soft-pull approval reaches up to $4,000 with much broader credit eligibility, making it the right path if you're building credit, recovering from a thin file, or self-employed without a traditional W-2 income history.

Frequently asked questions

Will applying hurt my credit score?

Synchrony does a hard pull at application — that's the standard credit-card application process. Acima uses a soft pull for pre-approval, which doesn't affect your score. If you'd rather check your Acima option first without any credit impact, that's the right starting point.

Can I combine financing with a sale price?

Yes. 0% APR financing applies to whatever price is on the mattress at checkout, including any active sale or promo code. The financing is a payment method, not a discount; the discount is whatever's on the listing.

What happens if I don't pay off the balance by the end of the 0% promo?

On Synchrony plans, any remaining balance becomes subject to deferred interest — interest is charged on the entire original purchase amount, calculated from the purchase date, at the standard APR. The way to avoid this is to set up automatic payments at the start of the term that pay the loan off on schedule. We'll help you set this up at the time of purchase if you'd like.

Can I add more to my financed order later?

Synchrony's revolving line can be re-used for future purchases at LA Mattress Store. Each new purchase gets its own promotional term tied to the order amount. Acima leases are per-purchase — to finance a second item later, apply again.

Do you offer financing on adjustable bases and accessories?

Yes — bases, foundations, frames, sheets, and accessories are all eligible. Bundling the mattress and base in one financed purchase often unlocks the longer 0% terms.

What if my application is declined?

If Synchrony declines, we'll usually re-route to Acima automatically (their soft pull means a second application doesn't impact your score). If both decline, we can also offer Affirm or Klarna pay-in-4 plans on smaller orders, or you can split payment across multiple methods at checkout.

Can a co-signer help me qualify?
