Do I get the same discounts in the store as online?

Yes. All promotions are valid whether you shop in-person at a store or shopping online.

Do you buy used mattresses?

No, health laws dictate that a used mattress may not be resold commercially. A used mattress may be sold by private parties on venues such as Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace.

Can I purchase over the phone?

Yes.  You may make an order over the phone with a credit card and a valid form of identification. The proof of ID may be texted or emailed to us or you may verify the payment at the time of your delivery.  You may utilize payment forms such as PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle without further proof of identification.

Where can I visit a store?

We have six convenient locations throughout Los Angeles County.  Come visit us in Koreatown, Hancock Park, West LA, Glendale, Studio City, and Santa Monica.

When are you open?

We are open 7 days a week for most of the year.  We are open from 10am to 9pm Monday through Friday and 10am to 8pm Saturday and Sunday.  We are closed on Thanksgiving day and Christmas day holidays.

Is it permissible to claim a tax deduction for purchasing a mattress?

According to Intuit the creators of TurboTax software there may be circumstances under which you can claim a tax deduction, for buying a mattress. However specific conditions apply.
The mattress in question should have a purpose and resemble the type of mattress you would find in a hospital. Additionally when claiming it as a deduction on your tax return you may need to provide verification of the expense to ensure its legitimacy.

Do you sell box springs only, without a mattress?

Yes.  We sell and stock box-springs and foundations from all sizes and heights of all brands that we carry. You may request delivery or pick-up.

What is your 120-Night Sleep Trial return policy?

Here at LA Mattress, we are confident that are professional sleep experts will help you select the right mattress for your sleep style and body type. If, after 30 nights, you're not happy with your mattress, you have the next 90 days to make another selection. There is no restocking fee! However, you are responsible for the delivery and removal fee.

What is your Lowest Price Guarantee?

Can I finance my sleep set with LA Mattress?

Yes.  LA Mattress Store carries a variety of toppers including organic latex toppers, gel memory foam toppers and more.

Yes. We offer a myriad of pillow choices from popular brands like Tempurpedic pillows, BeautyRest pillows, and more.

Do you carry home furniture?

Yes.  Furniture is available for every room in your home. From the bedroom to the living room, we have what you desire.

Do you sell mattresses in a box?

Yes.  We stock all sizes of mattresses in a box for easy transport and direct shipping, including Diamond Mattress, HarvestGreen, and more.

Do you sell bed frames?

Yes.  We carry all types of bed frames whether it be a basic metal frame or furniture beds.

Do you carry roll-away / folding beds?

Yes. We carry an assortment of roll-away beds and futons.

How much are your mattresses?

Mattress prices range depending on the material, build, and size of the mattress. Prices start at just over $200 and some are well into the thousands.

What brands do you carry?

We carry brands such as Tempur-pedic, Stearns & Foster, Diamond, Southerland, Chattam & Wells, Spring-Air, Eastman House, Harvest Green, Eclipse, Rize, Sealy, and more.

What is a hybrid mattress?

A hybrid mattress combines the qualities of both memory foam and innerspring mattresses. These mattresses provide an comfortable surface while ensuring essential support throughout the night with their underlying coil system. Hybrids are generally more durable, than memory foam mattresses and offer a well rounded and supportive sleep experience.

What is a plush mattress?

A plush mattress is designed to provide comfort and contour to your body. When you lie on a mattress you'll experience a gentle sinking feeling without feeling overly engulfed which makes it easier to get in and out of bed. These types of mattresses are particularly beneficial for sleepers, especially those who share their bed with a partner. Plush mattresses are excellent at absorbing movement minimizing disturbances caused by shifts.

Can I place my mattress directly on the floor?

While technically possible, placing your mattress directly on the floor may void its warranty. Mattresses require some form of support to maintain their durability and longevity. This can be achieved through the use of bed rails and box springs or a platform bed with slats or even an adjustable base. Providing support ensures that your mattress can properly support you while allowing for necessary ventilation to preserve its quality.

Can you wash a mattress pad?

It's important to follow the care instructions provided with your mattress pad. However in cases you can safely machine wash vinyl backed mattress pads using a gentle cycle and mild detergent. If machine drying is recommended use a low heat setting to preserve the integrity of the pad.

What sets apart a box spring from a foundation?

Box springs are typically used with bed rails while foundations like platform beds have slats that eliminate the need for box springs. Additionally adjustable bases don't require box springs for support.

Is a box spring necessary?

Not necessarily. If your bed already has a foundation like slatted support, in a platform bed you can skip using a box spring. Most mattresses give you the option to choose between using a box spring or an adjustable base based on preference.

What is the main purpose of a box spring?

The primary function of a box spring is to provide support for your mattress ensuring that it maintains its shape and prevents sagging over time. Additionally box springs act as a barrier absorbing any impact from movements like tossing and turning while also improving airflow to the mattress for a cooler sleeping experience.

What is the typical lifespan of a box spring?

Generally a box spring can last around 8 to 10 years. Its recommended to replace it when you invest in a mattress. To prolong the lifespan of your box spring you may consider using a bunkie board for added support.

Does a box spring really make a difference?

Absolutely! Box springs serve two purposes. Firstly they offer a foundation for your mattress ensuring proper support and increasing its longevity. Secondly they absorb motion transfer reducing shock and minimizing wear and tear on your mattress.

Is it okay to place a box spring on the floor?

Technically speaking you can place a box spring directly on the floor. However it's advisable to use a bed frame whenever possible as it provides protection, for both your box spring and mattress while enhancing overall support and aesthetics.
How can you fix a box spring?
Once a box spring breaks it loses its ability to absorb shock and provide support. While temporary solutions like placing a bunkie board on top of the broken box spring can offer some support it is generally recommended to replace the box spring

What are the options for covering a box spring?

There are methods available to cover a box spring. A popular choice is using a bedskirt, which comes in designs and can complement the overall decor of your bedroom. If you're looking for a budget option you can also repurpose an extra flexible fitted sheet to cover your box spring.

How can one prevent a box spring from slipping off the bed frame?

If your box spring tends to slide off the bed frame it could be due to gaps between the frame and the box spring. To effectively address this issue you can use Velcro strips or rug pad grippers as cost efficient solutions that will keep your box spring securely in place.

How can you stop a mattress from sliding off a box spring?

Sometimes dust accumulation between your mattress and the box spring can cause it to slide. To prevent this start by vacuuming the space, between them

Do I need a box spring with a bed frame?

Can any mattress be used on a bed frame?

What is the weight limit for a bed frame?

Typically a regular bed frame can handle around 500 pounds while heavy duty steel bed frames have the capacity to support weights between 1,000 and 5,000 pounds. Loft style beds that are elevated from the ground may have a weight limit of approximately 200 pounds and child bed frames usually support about 150 pounds.

How can you fix a bed frame?

There are methods to address a squeaky bed frame. Start by checking the joints of the bed frame for any bolts that may need tightening. Loose bolts are often responsible for squeaks. Can also pose safety risks. If the frame seems stable consider applying a silicone lubricant, like WD40 to the joints. Another option is to rotate your mattress to distribute weight more evenly. Do you carry sheet sets? What kind do I need?

LA Mattress carries a variety of sheets that will complete your sleep set. Mattresses come in differing thicknesses and you must select sheets that can accommodate the build of your mattress.

What mattress sizes do you offer?

Standard mattress sizes are stocked for immediate delivery. The standard sizes are twin (39"x75"), twin XL (38” X 80”), full (54"x75"), queen (60"x80"), Eastern King (76"x80") and California King (72"x84"). Otherwise, any custom size mattress may be purchased and ordered for your specific needs.

Am I supposed to rotate my mattress and how often?

It is recommended that you turn your mattress at least once a month for the first year and then seasonally for the remainder of the life of the mattress. You may rotate your mattress more frequently if desired.

What is the best mattress?

The best mattress is the mattress that allows for pressure relief while still maintaining proper support for your body. How long does a mattress last?

The life of a mattress will vary depending upon the strength of the its construction. The more durable the material the bed is made with, the longer it will hold up to the test of time. Generally, mattresses are recommended to be replaced every 8-10 years. But, some mattresses will last longer or shorter depending on the quality of the building materials.

What is a mattress protector and do I need one?

Mattress protectors are useful to increase the life of your mattress. A mattress protector ensures that dust ,dust mites, and allergens are prevented from entering your mattress on a nightly basis as would a mattress without a protector. Protectors are also beneficial in preventing accidental stain that would otherwise void any manufactures warranties. You don't need a mattress protector, but you would be better off if do.


Are products available to receive at the store locations for pick-up?

Some products are stocked at the stores.  However, all available products are stocked at our warehouse in North Hollywood and may be transferred to any store location for your convenience.

Do you ship products nationwide?

Yes.  We ship to all of the contiguous United States. Refer to our delivery information for more details.

Do you ship to Hawaii?

We have a limited selection of products that we are able to ship to Hawaii.

Do you have same-day delivery?

Yes. Same-day delivery is available anywhere in Southern California.

What days do you offer delivery?

We offer delivery every day of the year except Thanksgiving and Christmas.

When I have a delivery day scheduled, what time does the delivery team arrive?

You will receive notification of the delivery window the night before your scheduled delivery. Expect a call and/or text the night before between the hours of 6pm and 9pm.


Do you carry adjustable bases?

Yes.  We carry many types of adjustable bases with differing options such as massage, lumbar support, and more.

Do you carry hospital beds?

No, hospital beds with protective side rails are not offered. Please consult any hospital supply retailer.

What does an adjustable base do?

An adjustable base is a bed frame that allows you to raise your head, feet or both based on your personal preference. Some models even come with features like USB charging ports for your devices, a wireless remote control for easy adjustments, massage functions and solutions for reducing snoring.
