Helix takes a personalized approach to mattress matching. Instead of offering one mattress in different firmness levels, they designed distinct models optimized for different sleep profiles:

• Quiz-based matching — Their sleep quiz considers your sleep position, body type, feel preference, and temperature to recommend a specific model
• Hybrid construction — Every Helix mattress uses pocketed coils combined with foam comfort layers, providing a balance of support, bounce, and pressure relief
• Zoned support — Firmer coils under the lumbar area and softer coils at the shoulders for targeted support
• Multiple models — Rather than "soft/medium/firm" options of the same mattress, each Helix model has a different combination of materials tuned for specific needs

The result: instead of guessing at firmness, you get a mattress designed for how you actually sleep.

The Midnight and Midnight Luxe are Helix's most popular models — and the ones we get the most questions about. Here's the difference:

Helix Midnight — The core model. Medium feel with memory foam comfort layers and pocketed coils. Designed for side sleepers and couples. Excellent pressure relief at the shoulders and hips. Queen from ~$1,373.

Which should you choose?

• Choose Midnight if you want great side-sleeper performance at a competitive price
• Choose Midnight Luxe if you want premium comfort, run warm (Tencel cover breathes better), or want stronger edge support for couples
