This is our Low Price Guarantee, and it's how a local family-owned LA store competes with national chains and direct-to-consumer brands. We don't expect you to overpay just because you walked into a showroom instead of an online store. Same mattress, lower price elsewhere? You get the lower price plus 10% off the gap.
How the price match works
- Find the lower price. The mattress must be the same model, same brand, same size at an authorized retailer with an in-stock, currently advertised price (not a phantom listing or a sold-out price tag).
- Send us proof. A direct link to the competitor's product page, a screenshot of their current price + URL, or a paper ad with the date and store. Email lamattressplus@gmail.com or bring the proof into any LA showroom.
- We verify in under a business day. A team member confirms the listing is live, the model number matches, and the retailer is authorized. Most verifications take a few minutes.
- You pay 10% less than the competitor. At checkout if pre-purchase. As a refund to your original payment method if within 30 days post-purchase. Apply the difference to your existing financing balance if applicable — no new credit pull needed.

What counts as an "authorized retailer"?
An authorized retailer is one of the brand's vetted sales partners — bricks-and-mortar stores or online retailers that the brand has approved to sell their product at the brand's published MAP (Minimum Advertised Price). For the brands we carry, the major authorized retailers include:
- Tempur-Pedic: Mattress Firm, Bloomingdale's, Macy's Backstage, Costco, Tempur-Pedic.com
- Stearns & Foster: Mattress Firm, Macy's, Costco, Sleep Outfitters, Stearns & Foster's own site
- Sealy: Mattress Firm, Macy's, Costco, Sleep Outfitters, Sealy.com
- Chattam & Wells, Spring Air, Diamond, Englander, Helix, Harvest: smaller authorized networks — we'll confirm the retailer is on the brand's approved list when you submit the proof
Why this matters: unauthorized resellers (Amazon third-party sellers, eBay, refurbished marketplaces, "warehouse direct" outlets) often list prices below MAP because they're selling product the brand didn't authorize them to sell. We can't price-match those listings — and you shouldn't buy from them anyway. The brand's warranty is typically void on mattresses sold through unauthorized channels, which is exactly the kind of detail that costs you when a coil breaks 18 months in.
What's NOT eligible for the price match
- Internet-only "special order" or "closeout" prices where the seller isn't authorized. We protect against fake-price bait listings.
- Floor samples, clearance, "as-is", or discontinued mattresses (ours or competitors'). These already trade comfort exchange + warranty for the discounted price; a price-match would double-count the discount.
- Liquidation events from stores going out of business — final-sale clearance from a closing store isn't "advertised price" in the policy sense.
- Open-box or used mattresses listed by any retailer.
- Wholesale, employee, or military-discount pricing not available to the general public.
- Bundle prices where the mattress is sold tied to a separate purchase (e.g., free-base-with-mattress bundles where the standalone mattress price isn't published).
Frequently asked questions
How long do I have to claim a price match after buying?
30 days from delivery. After that the price might still drop somewhere, but the policy window has closed. If you're shopping the same mattress at multiple retailers, do the price comparison before you order — it's faster and you avoid the refund-routing step.
Do I have to bring in a paper ad, or does a website link work?
A live URL works best — we can verify the price, the stock status, and the retailer authorization in one step. A screenshot with the URL visible is fine if the listing might change before we verify. Paper ads are also accepted; we just verify them against the retailer's current site.
What if the competitor's price drops AFTER I order?
If it drops within 30 days of your purchase, send us the link and we refund the difference plus 10%. Lots of customers find a lower price the week after delivery — Synchrony sale, Memorial Day promo, etc. — and we honor the policy retroactively.
Does the price match work on bundled financing or other promos?
Yes. The price match adjusts your purchase price; any active financing terms apply to the adjusted balance. If you used Synchrony 0% APR and we refund $200, your loan balance decreases by $200 at the same term. No re-application, no second credit pull.
What about Amazon prices?
If the Amazon listing is the brand's own first-party seller (e.g., "Sold by Tempur-Pedic"), the price is eligible. Third-party Amazon sellers usually aren't on the brand's authorized list — we can't price-match those, and we'd advise against buying from them because the manufacturer warranty is typically void.
Can I combine the price match with a sale?
Yes. If we're running a 15% off sale and you find the same mattress 20% off at an authorized retailer, you get the lower competitor price minus 10% (so 22% off in this example — not 15% + 22%). The price match is a price adjustment, not a discount on top of our promo.
What if you don't carry the exact model I found a lower price on?
The price match requires same mattress, same model number, same size. If we don't carry it, we can usually special-order it from the brand at the matched price. Call (800) 218-3578 with the brand + model and we'll confirm.
Is the price match the same as the comfort exchange?
No — they're separate policies. The Low Price Guarantee protects the price you pay. The 120-night Love Your Bed Guarantee protects against the wrong-feel-for-my-body case. Both apply to every mattress; they don't interact with each other.
