Memory Foam Mattress in Sylmar
Four months after the 1971 earthquake in Silmar, a suicide tunnel near Sylmary was blown up by 17 workers. It was the worst tunnel of California history, and as a result, the state adopted mining rules and tunnels in the country, as well as the creation of a workforce called "Cal / OSHA". The incident resulted in a 54-week suit against Lockheed Shipbuilding and Construction Company, the longest trial in US history. The result was one of the highest urban fines and the greatest awards of civil damages of that time. Eleven firefighters and rescuers of Los Angeles were awarded the medal for that day for a record of one case. 33-year-old Ralph Brisst was the only survivor.
