Hughes grew up after the war, and in 1953 Howard Hughes donated his entire property to Howard Hughes Medical Institute. After his death in 1976, the Institute sold the company, becoming the world's second medical research foundation. The 1960s and 1970s studios (Haloach Studios) were demolished in 1963. At the end of the 1960s, most of MGM (3rd plot and other property in Jefferson Boulevard), as well as about 28.5 acres (11.5 hectares) RKO Pictures, and then RKO- the fourth acre was sold by the owners. In 1976 the cemeteries were destroyed for repair. Today, the RKO station is a southern extension of the Hayden industrial tractor, and the MGM facility has been transformed into a division and trade center as Raintree Plaza.
